About the Mishelanu Initiative
The Mishelanu Initiative was first launched as “Mishelanu Switzerland” by Dan Deutsch during his tenure as Chair and CEO of NAIN Switzerland. It emerged directly after October 7, when many in Switzerland felt overwhelmed by a sharp rise in open antisemitism as well as BDS-disguised hostility in public life. Mishelanu was created to offer clarity, connection and community at a moment of deep uncertainty.
Today, Mishelanu has spun off as a fully independent initiative and scales to Austria, Germany and beyond.
Dan continues to lead Mishelanu as its founder, working closely with regional experts across the DACH region to ensure that local realities, needs, and community dynamics are understood and supported.
